[ This scenario is unfortunately feeling all too familiar to Cassian. Cornered in a tight alleyway while being on the receiving end of some sort of weapon - whether that's fists, blasters or a sharp weapon - is one that he's been in more than a handful of times in his life. But despite his attempt at a light tone, his body is coiled and tight, caught between fight and flight, reminiscent of a stormy night on Morlana One. It's an unfortunate set of events that sent his life spiralling wildly out of control and beyond anything that he could tangibly hold onto.

But so rarely did he find himself in this scenario where someone, some stranger, is willing to help. This isn't Ferrix. These stones have no loyalty to him. And yet.

When he blinks next he watches in shock as stones build a temporary wall, separating him from the thieves and another voice joins the fray.

The thieves turn slowly, eyebrows raised. One of them chuckles as if amused by the fact that someone is willing to step in at all. Oo, another gilded bird came down to play amongst us, huh? Floating rocks won't be enough to intimidate thieves who seem to think they can take on a Summoned living a cushy life in the castle.

They waste no time, one flinging a wind spell towards Kell in an attempt to push him back and break his concentration, while the other with an unseen force, manages to tug one of the loose rocks free and hurdles it towards Kell giving Cassian a window into what's happening. Immediately dropping the logs he searches for a gap around the floating wall - because if there's one thing that's clear to him it's that he can't just turn tail on this stranger. ]
