[ They have that in common; from traveling the world she's become eager for knowledge wherever she goes. It's one of the things that has made Abraxas bearable at all: she's learned about so much she otherwise would have never had the opportunity to know, let alone experience, courtesy of the Horizon. There's an undercurrent of wonder when she thinks of this planet, but the majority of her wants to portal her way back out as soon as possible. ]

You'll be the one guiding those who seem bewildered soon enough. As for my world, it's...well, not all that different from this, minus the magic, and plus technology. There are people here from the same planet I am, but so far in the future nothing sounds familiar anymore. We have vehicles for transportation instead of horses by now, for example. Electric lights, entertainment that doesn't necessarily have to be live, and so much more.

Right now it's peaceful but in a decade, at least one country will go to war with the other. And for all that, it's beautiful and vast. Deserts and volcanos on one side of the planet, rainforests and plains on the other. Granted, before this, it was the only planet I'd ever known so I'm biased, but Earth is quite wonderful.
