Sansa can tell that Jon isn't saying everything and makes a note to ask him in a more private place what his true thoughts are. She is good at masking and hiding away what she thinks but she also desperately needs to know and the curiosity will burn at her until she has the lay of the land.

Of Mat, though, she relaxes her judgment a bit. "Then he must be a good man that I will want to meet, naturally. You know that I am not trusting of others but if you trust this man, I will be gentler in my judgment than usual."
