This would depend on how Kelson's truth reading functions. Babis as a Draconae cannot be mindread or otherwise breached psychically. If the truth reading creates an indication that is a magical aura around him, then while Babis himself is sincere, like many people he exaggerates and leaves important details out when conversing casually, especially since he isn't exactly sober, so it's possible he may register as "skirting the truth."
