Kahlil doesn't frequent the library as often as he did when he first arrived almost a year and a half ago, but he still stops by to check in with Jack, or to drop off a package for a mage working here. The latter is the reason he's here today, when he spots an unfamiliar face.
"What was that you just did?" he asks, canting his head to one side. Kahlil dresses in a way that doesn't particularly stand out, simple and dark colored clothing that don't identify him as either a native or one of the Summoned to someone new here. This person is easy enough to clock as a newly arrived Summoned, though, making a failed attempt to use natural abilities or magic. Everyone goes through it, and he knows already the usual faces here.
