[ The library isn't exactly at the top of Hilda's list of places to go when she's bored. Unfortunately in these trying times there's only so many places indoors for them to go. So she tags along on one of Claude and Sylvain's trips to the library mostly in an attempt to leave the loft and avoid any loft fever. Thankfully that day also happens to be the same one that the New Age practitioners are hosting their workshop.
It doesn't take much to convince her to try her hand at anything related to arts and crafts. Having dabbled in engraving before, handling the pen is the easy part. Coming up with something to put on the metal is the hard part.
Especially when she can feel eyes boring into the back of her skull when she finally gets down to work. Just as their instructor coaxes the bystander to join them, Hilda looks up - just in time to make eye contact with him as he says 'sloppy'. It's probably just a coincidence that they locked eyes at that moment. But she knew she hadn't been imagining some presence hovering over her shoulder as she worked.
