( Will was the last person he thought would ever be here too Clarisse. He was still 90% sure they had accidentally summoned the wrong guy and were just stuck with him instead and didn't know how to admit they made a mistake. He was the Apollo kid who couldn't Apollo (and he certainly cant Apollo with the giant inferiority complex he has going). Clarisse gives him more credit than he gives himself. At least without someone like Nico boosting his self confidence.

Either way, he had fully expected them to summon anyone else. Nico, Percy, Piper. Clarisse. Someone a little more capable than him. So he's pleasantly happy but not exactly surprised to see her. Looked like they finally got it right. Plus, he liked Clarisse. Weird, right? Will was also kind of like an antibiotic resistant infection. He grew on you and was hard to get rid of. )
