( the problem is, demigod dreams are fucking weird. too often they feel real. this whole conversation could be a dream, but she knows it isn't because the other thing demigod dreams usually are are incomplete. they don't make sense, most of the time, always shifting from one horrible thing to the next. the two of them might not always get along, but she wouldn't consider percy horrible (anymore). and certainly, having a mostly normal conversation about mostly normal things is just about as real as it gets. but she'll pinch percy if he needs to be extra sure. )
Well, after what Zeus did to Apollo — which, I mean, objectively hilarious but — yeah, I'm not ruling it out, either. The Fates are still out on whether or not we're being punished, I guess. Even though we just won their stupid Giant war and unscrambled the gods' fractured brains or whatever.
( of course, by we she mostly means the seven, but, you know, they had help. the final battle against gaea happened on her soil, her camp, so she still counts herself in that we, even if she wasn't actually part of ... well, the rest of it. )
