It doubtlessly has military applications, and I assume it has already been put to use in those situations where it is appropriate. [The dhampir would not doubt this given the Free Cities' current penchant for stupid border skirmishes, but Alucard is well aware he is in public and his words hold at least a feathered pillow's worth of weight.
