Alice will accept 'having no reason to fear her' as a bit of a social victory, given the circumstances. They're both in a strange place; it would be awful to start things off by inadvertently making an enemy. Especially over something that is, ultimately, beyond her control. Magic in her world and time is rare, powerful, and mis-trusted... but it's not inherently bad.

She gives Goro a small smile. "You're welcome. I'm happy to help." That, at least, has not changed. "Even if they aren't able to find you a more suitable bed, I'll be fine. I'm just glad this solution worked out."
