How am I here? That's a really long story, but I guess it starts with the fact that I survived that fall. Turns out HYDRA was trying to replicate what was done to Steve with me and they kind of succeeded.

He's not used to talking about this stuff, but it's not for it being some kind of cosmic secret, especially not from someone who'd been with him and Steve in the war. She might not have been one of the Howlies, exactly, but she'd been rooting for Steve and backing him up when no one else really had and at the end of the day, he's not sure he ever would have made it out of Azzano himself without that. Plus Steve had loved her enough to dream about that life with her more than anything else. ]
