[ The hum that Geralt gives is indifferent—one that says he can't give enough of a shit to argue, but that Cloud should probably think it through one more time for his own sake. What minimal conversation was between them lapses into silence. There's a moment where he looks back at Cloud, because he certainly notices that he's being sized up and has no interest in hiding that he does, before he glances away again, letting Cloud do as he will.

Even when Cloud finally speaks up again, Geralt doesn't look back. For a few seconds, it's almost as if he's not heard him in the first place, though he has. ]
I'm sure. [ He's known him all of an hour; Cloud's decision one way or the other isn't his responsibility.] Take your chances, if you prefer. You may find the climate elsewhere more agreeable.

[ That's the only difference Cloud will find, is what he's saying. The Singularity is embedded so deep into the core of this sphere, he's starting to gather escaping it will be a matter of leaving this world altogether. He wants no part in it. But he also knows going from one end of the world to the other won't change that.

It isn't his job to convince Cloud of that, though. Even if a part of him wants to, because Cloud looks like he's got something going on, something that's itching at Geralt past what he usually allows. He can't quite place a finger on it and it's almost beginning to annoy him. ]
