He is less certain about Viktor and tells Kyle he will think about it. After another day, he will return and announce that the Inner Sanctum has allowed it after some consultation since one of their well-respected blacksmiths has vouched for Viktor. Viktor may surmise that this blacksmith is probably Babis.
The three of them will be invited into the same chamber. Ermis does not swear them to secrecy but warns that they should be cautious about who they tell. Since Ermis is not a craftsman, his presence will be replaced by Charis, The Overseer.
