Anneth agrees that this is a possibility. It is not a fact the Draconae advertise much, for fear of being seen as even more of outsiders than they already are. She believes that Argus created the Draconae race as caretakers of the dragons. Anneth also seems to distance this belief from that of Solvunn's, as she feels the connection between Argus and the Draconae are much more observable than Solvunn's pure faith.

She says that there are no further memories from Argus. However, she will show a memory of a different dragon emerging, this one closely resembling the current Obsidian Dragon, Hierus. Her conclusion is that while Argus appears to have "transcended," Hierus never did. It is unclear whether this is because Hierus could not or chose not to.
