Charis will allow Viktor to make a copy but will not allow him to remove the copy from the vault. However, Viktor may make use of the room to study and can bring any tools he wants into the area. This is simply to keep the information secure. Charis only asks that all related research be retained inside the vault. He promises they will keep it safe and will not interfere with it.

The Horizon itself seems quite stable for now...but if Kyle should visit the area where he once dug his tunnel, he may find it feels hollow beneath his feet, as if the foundation beneath has shifted or fallen away.
