Hello! Yes, Alucard and Thancred can successfully find the figures again if they go back into the forest. While the figures are highly defensive, once Thancred and Alucard prove themselves harmless, they will send one delegate out to speak. The best way to be friendly is for Thancred and Alucard to explain they are also lost travelers from another world.

This figure will not remove their coverings, but she will forgo her stilt to walk normally on the ground. She explains they are equally lost. They don't understand where they are and landed here some weeks ago after their transport blew apart while escaping with precious cargo. Instead of reaching the "home port," they warped here instead. She is unsure what caused this navigational error but believes something interfered with the transport's coordinates.

She will ask them if they know how to go home. They are afraid that their cargo will not last long without its true protector. There appear to be about 6 of them total. Their numbers are small.

Alucard and Thancred may recall that one of them was carrying what appeared to be an infant child, and can surmise that these people have rescued a child and were on their way to reuniting it with its mother before getting "lost."
