State of the Game

October - November (2021)

Welcome to our first State of the Game! Here, you can read about what might be going on in the world around Abraxas and with the characters in it. Every AC period, you can report what your character has been up to and where relevant to the game at large, we will include the information in the next newsletter. This one will cover the period of October to November.

We encourage you to use the information here to springboard new CR or plots if you're so inclined. Finally, please remember that our World Building page is always open for submissions. Several new creatures have already been added to the Bestiary for you to play with!

Eifstide Ghosts | LINK
At midnight during Eifstide, a ritual gone wrong in Solvunn results in the dead rising. Many characters lent a hand to assist locals and fellow summoned alike across all three factions. Ambrose rejects Ronan's scheme to move against Solvunn, but he gives Ronan an important task instead related to the Singularity.

In a private meeting, Kylo informs Jolene that the Queen was responsible for Relena's disappearance and offers his assistance.

Queen Ellya, Grigory Jannus, (Jolene Sybell)

Geralt is captured by the Queen in secret, where he is used for information and to test Yennefer's loyalty. He's eventually found in Nott by Julie Lawry, thanks to some intervention later at the castle.

Sam meets with the Prime Minister to try and get some insight on why people are being summoned into the Free Cities, and what can be done about this.

Estinien makes a speech in front of the Solvunn Council urging them to act, and has a private discussion with the Head of the Council, Winifred.

Kylo Ren
A study session at the castle was set up to help newcomers into the Horizon. After Eifstide, Kylo Ren has additionally gained about 6 inches (... in height). This appears to be a permanent feature.

Characters in the castle may have noticed or heard word of a man in the dungeons, for 2 days starting Nov 13 before he vanishes. Why exactly he's there is unclear.

The Free Cities

Goro
Goro spurs the people of Cadens into action towards Solvunn after the events of Eifstide. Characters may have heard his speech or rumblings afterwards of what was said.

A wolf may be seen sleeping in one of the Cadens graveyards, which is slowly being tidied up during the day. Plants and flowers have also been respectfully laid for decoration.

Bandits killed out in the desert. Wandering characters might've stumbled on the aftermath in the day or two following, or noticed a young woman and a bard coming back a bit bloodied.

Characters in need of medical aid may find one Jonathan Reid willing to assist them in the settlement and in the farming areas.

Estinien and Himeka have been aiding in rebuilding a sheep farm. Estinien has additionally been seen offering himself as a mail carrier service between settlements.
