Unfortunately, the caskets have got to go somewhere. Characters may choose to try hiding or losing them if they wish, but this will come with potentially severe consequences. The faction that sent them on the mission will consider willful abandonment of a casket irresponsible at best and treasonous at worst, and any unattended caskets will almost certainly be discovered and intercepted as they emit a particular kind of energy that can be traced remotely.

When examined, caskets do not appear to have any visible hinges, seams or locks. Opening them will require expertise that the Summoned do not possess.
