Even though it's Thorne who is responsible for putting them in this situation to begin with. Obligation was a popular tool with certain members of Fódlan nobility and many of the more conniving ones could wield it like a scalpel.

"The apprentice mages peppered me with questions as well." She considers. "Odd for people who claim to already know about us." Byleth's right, they need more information. "I heard during my wandering of the castle that there were summonings that preceded our own. We should try to find someone from one of those summonings." She decides.
