[ he's about to continue when wanda pokes his arm, then lays her hand on it. he nearly pulls away, but stills as he realizes that wanda is sorting through him being here. their past is . . . complicated, to say the least. but then again, so is his history with everyone. and with an odd pang in his heart, he realizes wanda has lost just has much as he has, if not more. after all, he gets to rest. wanda has to keep on living.

I've got no idea why I'm here, and I'm not sure how long I've got here. But better make the most of it while we have it, right? Live, laugh, love. Whatever. [ with a wave of his free hand. ] I'm alright, though. Really.

[ for the most part. there are bad days, and good days. but overall, he's made his peace with what has happened to him. grief ebbs and flows, but he's kept himself busy, and focused. ]
