[Fandaniel twirls in place and sways across the room to the water basin where he turns again to face Hythlodaeus.]
For millennia I watched the world, waiting for a sign that mankind was deserving of existence and I found none.
And so I chose to throw open the heavens so that the land itself might inherit my hell. By my hand it will be undone. The end will come and it will be beautiful.
[That thought had been with him as he'd attempted to merge into the heart of Zodiark.
The end has come ...and it will be beautiful!
Fandaniel's dark gaze looks Hythlodaeus over. He can't consciously remember it but it had been Hythlodaeus who had told Hermes, the original owner of Fandaniel's soul, that death and returning to the star was beautiful, always.
Hermes had found the idea repugnant, if it was true then it was only true for mankind and not for the beasts. Fandaniel sees truth in it, however. The end is beautiful! That final stop at the end of existence is only true thing in the universe.]
