Byleth hums in agreement to the initial suggestion and closes her eyes—though that last comment when Edelgard leans in closer gets a little laugh, a teasing smile flickering over her lips.
"Really? Falling through the void is how I always thought we might elope, El," Byleth chuckles, briefly tightening her hold, "but the castle was a surprise."
She goes quiet for a moment, considering. "We'll have to think of our options for making money... especially without relying on the castle." They're both skilled and capable people, after all. There are no shortage of contract jobs Byleth might be able to take up, she thinks. Still, if they want to do this right, then perhaps...
"Maybe you could take your painting back up? I know you hadn't expected to find much time for it, but..."
