The power behind it though, concentrated into his blade would be comparable to being hit by a truck. Enough, more than likely, in Sephiroth's weakened state, to force him to the left.
Perhaps he'd be more surprised by the fact he might not even be able to see where the next blow was coming from, Cloud's arm moves that quickly. ]
