Byleth's attention remains on listening to her, though she idly begins to comb her fingers down through Edelgard's hair, toying with a lock of it near the ends. Constant stillness isn't in her nature—things to center her tend to help, especially in recent weeks.
"I couldn't agree more," she says, leaning her head down to press her lips to her partner's temple. It's a far from ideal situation, but... not entirely out of their wheelhouse, to be sure. When they stand together, she knows nothing can stop them. "I'm... glad that you're here, El. I don't think I could do this without you."
