( For as tense as this situation probably is for the guards, Bucky looks largely unfazed by it. It's hard to get all that worked up about three normal guys with swords, when he's who he is — let alone the fact that he has a vibranium hand capable of snapping those swords like toothpicks.
Perhaps counterintuitively, he's more fazed by their leaving, and what follows it.
It's complicated. It was complicated before Steve left, but that was more about circumstance. About the snatches of time they got being few and far between, about unsecured Skype calls whenever Steve could find twenty reasonably safe minutes while he was still trying to get his head on straight in Wakanda. All the stuff they never got the chance to talk about, partly a precaution, partly because some things you can only really say in person.
He kind of thought once it was all over, once they found a way to wind up in the same place for any reasonable length of time, their biggest issue would be relearning one another. They're both different people, practically different incarnations of themselves in a lot of ways. He thought it might be about working to see how these two puzzle pieces fit against each other again, if it'd be as seamless as it was. If they'd (Steve) even still like each other (him) after all the changes.
He didn't really bank on never getting the chance to find out. That's where things start to twist a little.
Don't get him wrong, Steve is still the most important person to him in the god damn world, past, present, or future. He's still so happy to see the guy again it's like a punch to the chest, and so all that complicated stays deep down under the surface where it belongs. Only that last part floats to the top, in the form of a small, sideways little smile. )
I was thinking about making it my title, you know? Lord crazy man with the metal hand.
hakuna matata, amigo

Of course he's going in for a hug. )
