[ With what territory, Thancred cannot help but wonder, but the stranger is quick to move on, bringing up the possibility of public executions without Thancred even having to go there first. It's becoming very clear very quickly that this man has seen quite a number of grim sights in his life, to the point that he can speak of them casually.

Then again, as someone who often speaks of things lightly to take some of the horror away from them, Thancred can relate to some extent. ]

I did meet someone here who's part of a previous group of summoned, so there is that. [ Thancred had also immediately gotten the impression that this is something that had been done a number of times before; it had just all been so practiced in a way it wouldn't have been the first time around. ] He didn't mention anything about public executions, which I imagine would have come up, so there may be more to this mystery.

[ Yet as he continues to search the cells, they offer up little more in the way of useful information. Having exhausted the search, he returns his attention back to the other summoned and nods his head in a more formal sort of greeting. ]

Thancred, by the way. It's a pleasure. [ He smirks, well aware that these are not pleasant conditions in which to be meeting anyone. ]
