Crowley could make a potato sack look chic and fashionable. The swagger and confidence added a lot to it, of course, but Aziraphale had also known Crowley back when potato sacks were, more or less, the In fashion. Crowley's eyes had been uncovered then, too.

"I suppose they were, in a way. I can't say I understand whatever for; something about preventing an apocalypse, or what-have-you--as if we haven't retired from that sort of thing." He gave a put-upon sigh.

"But, I do believe they've heard of me, which means they ought to have heard of you as well, and I'm sure this is all just some big misunderstanding.
