With time. The Neitherlands, where I live, is a nexus, containing portals to worlds across the multiverse. I don't believe that this world is a nexus but somehow it was able to draw people in from different places. We may be lucky and discover that many people are from the same place, even if they didn't know each other. Otherwise we'll have more discovering to do.
