Estinien watches him as he feigns innocence as the guard moves past, most interested in this man's demeanor than anything else. There's something amusing about plotting in broad daylight - Estinien has always been inclined towards rebellion, even against the nation he's supported his whole life.

An additional curiosity is how Crowley refers to 'humans' as a category he's not part of. He certainly looks human, but there are enough oddities in Estinien's world that he doesn't consider it that unthinkable. More than anything, he's curious about what he actually is.

"What are you, then, if not human?" he asks, obviously not threatened by the idea.
