To his own surprise, Ronan laughs, too. Not loudly, not uproariously, but it's more than any stranger can usually get from him. Usually, he laughs on his own terms. Now it bubbles out of him, a giddy reaction, something he hadn't known he'd been holding inside him until it was invited to release. He's not even sure the joke was funny.

"I'm not worried," he says. About wearing the same metaphorical dress or whether this guy minds or whether anyone hears about it. If sixty guns pointed at his head couldn't scare him into submission, nothing here is going to manage it.
