He'd been against the bars, yelling for the guard, and as one shoves his way in Jesper carelessly trips over his own feet in the scramble to get out of the way, bouncing briefly off the guard himself. He gets a shove for his carelessness- along with some slur about how the guard figured a sign like his would just be trouble- and stumbles a bit dramatically from the force of it over to sprawl into one of the lower beds. The key, of course, is slipped into the small hole in the mattress he'd previously picked open in his boredom, shoving it deep into the straw. Even if the guard searches him, the key should be safe.
Then he turns back, apprehension written all over his face, to see what happened to his partner in crime. Despite his profession, he really didn't like blood.]
