Kay's been down here long enough to have a certain schedule in place now. It's fidgeting hour, so she has pretty much been restlessly pacing her cell for the last half-hour or so. Ezra happens by on her break, just a few minutes after she decides to take a bit of a pause and slump back against the prison wall and look sullen for a bit.
When he speaks up, she glances sidelong at him through the cell door and snorts at the comment in a way which suggests, oh yeah, she has some THOUGHTS TO SHARE.
"Sure did! Apparently, I'm a failure of some sort," she says wryly, pushing back off the wall and turning to face him properly. "Can you believe that? And they wouldn't even tell me what I failed at! They just dragged me away and threw me down here!"
