Ronan considers the creature. Not at all like he's looking at a hideous monster, not even like a beast on display at a zoo, but rather like it's his turn to pick a teammate for his dodgeball game and this guy looks like a promising addition. He's much more inclined to trust monsters over humans these days.
"I haven't really done a count," he answers, "but there's a lot more of you down here than I thought there'd be. I can't tell what you've all got in common or why we're not locked in with you. I mean, none of us can leave, either, but I don't know why we got the five-star rooms."
