And Ronan is impressed. There's a level of control in these movements that he's never seen before, not even close. They've only just begun, but every other fight he's ever been in already feels sloppy in comparison, mangy cats blindly slapping and kicking themselves and each other to exhaustion.

Yes, he has a lot to learn. And he thinks this graceful hulk is exactly the person to teach him.

He's not watching Kylo's face. He's looking at everything else: that chest rising with anticipatory breath, that wall of a stance, that tension working its way down one arm to form a weapon that's coming straight at him.

Dodging isn't the Lynch way. His off-arm, tucked close for this very reason, snaps up to block the strike from hitting anything vital while his lead arm swings for a counterstrike.
