Huojin watched the Tiefling's face and body language closely as he awaited an answer, hoping to catch some sort of flicker of the eye or tick of his arm that would give away an reasoning for his offer. And yet, neither his expression nor his mannerisms gave anything away. At least, nothing that the Huli Jing could pick up from their short time together.

With the most subdued of thank you's, Huojin reached his hand out and curled his long fingers around the bag slowly and almost tentatively, as if giving the other the opportunity to rescind his offer.

"In truth, I'm used to being dubbed a failure." He gave a slight pause, eyes flickering downwards before returning to his visitor. "I'm Huojin, by the way."
