Everything tilts and Ronan realizes a little too late that he overestimated his ability to slow down this beast. The fact that he's taking Kylo down with him doesn't do him much good when his back hits the floor and all that weight bears down on him. This time, the breath leaves his body and the shock of lights up his nerves, stunning him into brief submission.

He loses his vision temporarily to a flash of white behind his eyes, and for a second it's just the pain and the heaviness and the gasping struggle to inhale. Then everything clears and his brilliant blue eyes snap up to Kylo's face and his mouth curves into a wild grin. This is an awful lot of fun.

Most of him is trapped beneath Kylo's body, but he's still got one arm slung around him. Ronan brings his fist down for a thump between Kylo's shoulder blades. It's not a good angle for a powerful hit. It's just to say he's not finished yet.
