[Sasarai isn't sure what to make of his situation. The fact that nobody else wearing a tunic seems to know what is happening either is both worrying and comforting. Whatever is happening, it's widespread but at least he's not alone.
The people smiling at him and scurrying everywhere to make him feel at home is familiar enough. Bishops of Harmonia usually receive this sort of treatment. He's used to it, but it will never not feel a little awkward.
Once he's finally been left alone, Sasarai sets out to explore his surroundings. Sometimes he winces as light glints through the windows like sparkling diamonds. It's the True Earth Rune communicating with him and it's asking a question but he has no answers.
When he sees someone else wandering the ornate corridors he smiles and waves.]
Lost or exploring?
Roommates
[Sasarai enters the room with a pensive expression and looks around.
Small. Certainly smaller than his room back at the Circle Palace but it will do. He'd barely needed the space he'd had back home anyway.
He pulls aside the curtain of one of the beds just to look it over and speaks to anyone else in the room.]
Well, I guess we might as well decide who gets what bed. Any preferences?
Dungeon
[It's not long before Sasarai decides the cloying kowtowing of the resident mages isn't giving him the big picture.
He knows political propaganda when he sees it. He's taken part in enough of it himself over the years.
Eventually, he decides to venture into the dungeons. If there are prisoners here who were dragged into this world against their will like he was then maybe they can offer a different perspective on things.
He walks along the cells until he finds someone who looks like they'd be willing to have a chat.]
