cryptsleeper: (far too still)

[Alucard says nothing. Some idiot in a far corner of the yard and beaned a few guards with the balls in a terrible, sad attempt at rebellion, and now everyone has lost access to the last ten minutes of outside time. The usual herding of prisoners back into cells is far more aggressive than need be, and Alucard's careful to keep his head down.

There's only two new bruises on his face when tomorrow comes. Alucard is sure of that particular passage of time too, as they've yet to be allowed outside again and they have only recieved one meal. So it is one day, give or take some hours.

He's mushed up against the corner where cell bars and walls meet, horrible little mattress underneath. Head down, focused on the ants marching along the floor. The wall helps keep him upright, and being here all day will make it look less suspicious if Hector does come.

That's what it is, isn't it? Part of him still wants to trust others, in spite of how frequently and badly awry it has gone lately.]
