Hennessy doesn't flinch, but she does take an instinctive step away from the bars at his violent outburst. She's never seen that anger turned on her, and it does little to subdue her own simmering frustration at being trapped and at the mercy of strangers who haven't thus far listened to her own insistence that letting her sleep is a death sentence for them as well as her.
"Right." She scoffs. "Because somehow you've got the ear of my mysterious jailers. Of course they'd want you."
She can't help but be stung by the facts of the situation. She knows she's being nastier than he deserves right now, but she can't help that, either. It's what she knows how to do best.
