This is not a joke question: how well would one man fare against a large swarm of moth hares

edit: for clarity he will not be trying to fight them, he will only be trying to save his gryphon from the swarm and I just want to know how many times he'll get kicked in the face and/or if they are super aggressive like killer bees and will track him and his family down
