CHARACTER INFORMATION: He's a cowboy with a cybernetic arm that does bounty hunting and vigilante stuff. He started out a co-founder of a gang that stole and sold weapons on the black market, but was recruited for Overwatch (a UN peacekeeping org) when he was caught at the ripe old age of 17. In Overwatch he was involved in their secret black ops division Blackwatch so he did shady operative work around the world. Then people started turning against Overwatch, the whole thing was shut down, and he did his vigilante thing solo. Recently, various chaos around the world has caused some former Overwatch members to get the band back together and he was encouraged to lead them.

HELLO welcome! I am Dee, I play Jesper Fahey here from Grishaverse and Jayce Talis from Arcane hextechhead. Jesper is a former gunslinger in a gang and has done some shady stuff and generally is a trouble maker. A very fun and light-hearted one, all things considered. He actually has a pair of guns on him which took him months, if Cole would notice and be curious how he got them! He knows a lot of stuff and has a lot of friends so is a good point person.

Jayce is a very warm and friendly person himself and he is a blacksmith who makes a lot of stuff around here. He isn't currently willing to make guns but he knows people who do. CHARACTER INFORMATION:
Viktor is a scientist-slash-genius engineer-slash-BIG NERD. He's spent the last 6-7 years developing magitech with his research partner, which has not necessarily played out as he would have hoped, with much of his work being co-opted by rich people who are only interested in doing rich people things. He comes off as a fussy academic but is actually an agent of chaos who loves to break rules and do weird science and ponder orbs. Despite his general penchant for putting himself in danger by screwing around with unknown forces he does not fully understand and can't control, he is an idealistic, highly principled individual who believes that the purpose of scientific advancement is to improve lives. He’s soft-spoken but quietly ambitious, intellectually curious, and kind of an obsessive workaholic who is increasingly preoccupied with his own legacy. He's pretty sure becoming a wizard will fix all of his problems.

I have an info and permissions post here and his app is here for further reading. Also a general heads up that Viktor is terminally ill—I content warn accordingly when relevant, but he basically has Fantasy Consumption and the desire to Not Die is a large part of his character motivation at his current canon point. I have an opt out if you’d like me to avoid mentioning this in tags or you would rather not interact with him at all. Comments are screened!

CR YOU WANT:

✷ Science types, baybe. He hangs around the Cadens academies and likes to be in tune with the general scientific goings-on of the city. If you’re an engineer or a mechanic or another scientifically-inclined individual he would like to connect and swap notes! Also, you know, people to do weird magitech experiments with?? Technologically-inclined people to mentor??? He has, like, an undisclosed number of degrees and likes to talk about math and physics and stuff.

✷ Viktor is CURRENTLY INDISPOSED until around event announcement time, probably. He’s in Aqulia, and traveling back from Aquila. Don’t ask him how that happened. Messages will be sent shortly to relevant parties.
✷ More generally, of his work involves faking magic via technological methods so he’s very jazzed about the real thing. His fancy Horizon power is identify, which means he can determine the magical properties of something by touching it. He can do this. For you!!! Beyond that he is testing his fancy little magic conduit in his Horizon (so that he can build a new one in the real world) if you want to stop by and say hi and ask him what the hell he’s doing.
✷ Before arriving here Viktor was about to, uh, do some illegal little human experimentation (on himself) with the aforementioned little magic conduit he built. He is trying to do this or similar with whatever he can get his hands on around here, and as an added bonus can enhance his own magic with BLOOD, so, if that sounds like a weird hook I can offer that.

CHARACTER INFORMATION: All his Abraxas info is here. Jayce is the perfect middle ground of the prep/nerd/jock venn diagram. He is the nerdiest person you will ever meet (collects rocks, is obsessed with magic, makes all your techy stuff, loves putting his hand up first in class), also preppy (he stood in the line at the Abraxas version of the DMV for hours so he could let his opinion be known, he dresses like he's about to go to a business meeting), and jock (girl look at that body). He's a golden retriever in human form and is part of the HIGH INT LOW WIS gang. He will make you anything (he gives Summoned percentage off on his blacksmithing) and just be super nice about it.

He recently fell from grace in his world by doing a few murders so he's very sorry about it and trying to go back to being a nerd. He is a former politician as well and very much is staying out of that, thanks, that road led down murder lane. But Jayce is actually a super celebrity in his home of Piltover, his face is on blimps, he was head of the council, it was all fun and games until he had to go and make a giant magic hammer. His best friend and life companion Viktor is dying and it's made him become a white mage in progress here. They share a Horizon because co-dependent is their thing.

CR YOU WANT: Come give him things to make! He is currently getting a name for himself making cool multi-tools that are more pragmatic than anything else. He has a few next projects anyone can use, he's good at tools and also making swords. He is also always at the university and learning medicine. So if you're a medical person, healer, or academic, come at him, or if you want something sharp, he is a very pretty option to buy from! But seriously Jayce is sweet but he is a lot so he loves meeting new people but he's high energy.

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Thane is a (former) assassin who spent the remainder of his life with a terminally ill disease, which made him reflect on his life of killing people for money and also his relationship (or lack thereof) with his son. By the time we meet him in the second game, he's all in for going on a suicide mission so that he can do some good to make up for the bad. He also reunites with his son and things are kind of...okay again. Despite his profession, he's a very spiritual and religious man and is way too polite for a guy who could kill a man with a paperclip.

He also has an eidetic memory and sometimes randomly slips into a memory he recalls, reciting it in vivid detail.

AND...he can't make much physical contact with humans on account of his people's skin emitting toxins that give humans rashes. And hallucinations if ingested?? Yeah.

CR YOU WANT: Thane is very much still not used to being around people, so friendly types are great. Or like, any type that would befriend him. Please give him friends. Sparring partners also are excellent. He's still recovering from being hospitalized for months and he's gotta keep in shape! Fellow snipers are great too. ALSO Thane is very spiritual and religious so anyone to have those kinds of discussions with would be super fun. Basically just...give me all of it.

So, theme and plot wise, Thane is going to end up being serious about helping to keep the world from dying, while also trying to look deeper into the world and lore and why they're here. He'll focus heavily on helping out in Solvunn as well. He'll be in this weird space where while he died with zero regrets, he'll question if maybe he still has more to give back to the universe. That's going to be his driving force in the game.

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Geralt is gruff and rough around the edges, and soft on the inside. He's surprisingly easy to get along with if you're able to overlook his brusque nature, as long as you're not the type to play games and or try to bullshit him. Harder to get to know him well past the surface, though. Very much a Dad. Will encourage you to learn how to stab things and take care of yourself. He's pretty good at killing monsters, handy with a blade, and prefers his solitude but also likes the company of people he's comfortable with. Can be solicited with free drinks or food. Will kill for you as a love language. More info.

CR YOU WANT:
+ Cheerful and persistent types to force him into friendship or anyone patient enough to get him to open up
+ People who will bully him or give him shit for being a grouch OR people he can (affectionately) bully in return because they have intense "I'm a little shit and I know it" vibes
+ Actual monsters he can befriend and fellow outcasts, people he can play big brother to or dad at
+ Characters with similarly orphaned/fucked up childhood backstories, especially those exposed to/committed violence at an early age or on the other hand, characters who have a wildly different upbringing than him
+ Other monster hunters, especially those with the rough and tumble vibe who'll remind him of his fellow Witcher brothers back home. He's already kind of adopted a couple and will continue to collect more.
+ Negative CR is fine, too! Geralt doesn't go out of his way to upset people, but he tends not to mince his words and if you hit the wrong buttons, he'll let you know quickly you're trying his patience. Also am 100% fine with people who'll be wary of him or don't like his, you know. Habit of slicing people open as an answer to certain problems.

CR YOU DON'T WANT:
+ Traditional ship partner/romance things. It's not gonna happen, his love life is too complicated and he's not the type.
+ Negative CR that becomes a genuine threat to people he cares about. I don't mind it if we talk it out and have a solid resolution to move towards, but otherwise anything that endangers the people he considers his family, he won't back down until you're dead or he is.
+ Negative CR that's just stirring the pot or antagonizing him. I also don't mind this, per se, but Geralt is simply not the type to take the bait and he'll just walk away from this sort of attitude so it's unlikely things will go anywhere if that's the only basis for their interactions.

PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
+ Investigating the true nature of the Singularity, and exactly what it is possible to use it for, as well as how much the factions know about its potential. He's doing this through a couple of people in Thorne. At the moment he believes the Singularity's immense power is inadvertently serving to protect Ciri from the Wild Hunt, and as such—among other reasons—is against people fucking with it.

+ Has real Single Dad, Newly Divorced vibes so maybe there's something there, if you, too, have an adopted child or two and a complicated love life.

+ Geralt hunts often out in the desert, so if you want your character to be rescued and/or get in the way, let me know, I'm always open to his day getting disrupted. He's investigating a weird cave full of skeletal remains this month, and we'll see where that goes!

+ He's made the decision that he will remain in Abraxas for various personal reasons (a lot to do with Ciri), so his investment in this world and the people in it runs a lot deeper. If your character is also the sort that's starting to settle down/no longer attempt to go home, I'd love to have that come up since he only knows a very small handful for whom this is true.

+ Geralt was peripherally involved with Dean Winchester for getting a hunter hangout spot going in the Horizon, which is currently the Roadhouse (Dean's domain.) You can find Geralt there from time to time, and if you can prove your mettle and/or he vibes with you, he'll talk shop, throw some knives with you, and show you a few monsters and such.

+ He has recently been introduced to a motorcycle so if you want to see a medieval fantasy man learning how to ride etc. That is also an option. Please continue to show him modern things, he's already learned quite a bit.

CHARACTER NAME: Claude von Riegan
CANON: Fire Emblem: Three Houses

CHARACTER INFORMATION:
Claude is a 24 year old former duke who successfully led his second home, a nation called the Leicester Alliance on a continent called Fodlan, to win a war before getting ready to leave to tackle some Other Life Goals. He comes from the Verdant Wind route of FE3H where he was the lone leader to survive. Who he actually is is also not what he generally presents it to be: he's actually from a neighboring country and a member of their royal family. To condense a lot of backstory, he moved to Fodlan to become his grandfather's heir and planned to use that position to prove himself and to work on opening borders and changing minds. The latter is basically his main goal in life since he believes pretty firmly in everyone working together, righting any wrongs, and anything that falls in between.

Thanks to things he lived through, Claude also learned to keep literally everyone at arm's length and never let anyone close or to ever trust them, and uses friendliness both as a shield and a way to get what he wants which is almost always information. Being overly casual and irreverent is his way of making himself not be taken seriously so no one looks at what he might be up to in the background too closely. Despite all this, he does genuinely care about people individually and as a whole, and anyone he's even remotely fond of can count on his loyalty to them in whatever way they need at any time. It takes him a while to let his guard down and now it's time to start over!

CR YOU WANT:
Where to start!!

▶ Would you like someone to annoy your generally closed-off character into friendship? Hi hello, here's Claude to do that. He might not like talking about himself beyond surface detail, but he loves listening to someone else do it. Yes, he's totally doing it to learn what makes someone do the things they do or what they think/what's important to them/etc, but it still counts, right? He's lonely but good at hiding it so he needs to make some friends even if it takes a while to Become Friends.
▶ Sort of along the same lines, Claude could really use a mentor/someone to lean on. In his timeline this was his former professor so he's gonna be lost without them around. If your character would be the surrogate parent type then he could definitely use their help. Found family is something he'll be missing terribly from home and I'd also love to force Claude to do some more character growth through it too. Also, if your character is younger and needs the same thing, he'll happily be a surrogate big brother to them!
▶ Claude isn't shy and likes to talk. If you cross his path, he will talk to and/or at you. This is sort of tied to the point below but I'm gonna put it here too: he loves hearing about things outside of his world/experiences so, what's life like where you're from? Up for comparing physical or emotional scars? Wanna do some bonding over depressing backstories once you're closer? Yes please.
▶ He's pretty insatiable when it comes to learning things he knows nothing about, so even if whatever's going on is over his head he'd like to be right there as a sponge absorbing it or suggesting things that don't help at all but might be a cool experiment. I'm thinking right now this applies most to any kind of technology since he comes from what's basically medieval fantasy, so seeing more modern anything is gonna BLOW HIS MIND.
▶ Feel free to use these as a starting point for something else - I'm happy to build on them in greater detail, plot and/or hand-wave to get the basics down and start further in past the usual intro stage, combine a few, or whatever works!

CR YOU DON'T WANT:
At this point, nothing tbh. I want it all, or at least for Claude to experience it all, so bring it on!

PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:
Claude is big into researching everything he can get his hands on (or overhear, observe, etc.) so teaming up with others or working on projects where he can be of use would be excellent. Fodlan was full of politics and maneuvering or straight up manipulating them so he won't bat an eye at everything going on and will have some Thoughts. He's a talented archer and fairly savvy with swords and axes, so any kind of guard missions, running errands for someone, hunting, quests, etc. where he could help (or "help" because I'm all for him getting in over his head, causing more problems than helping, and so on) would be great. He also knows how to craft a variety of poisons and their antidotes and will have to relearn that here, so he'd be happy to shadow anyone who works with/knows plants. Or if he poisons himself through that learning process, because he probably will, someone to cure him would be top notch.

I'm also very into found family and have a character who's a natural mentor type, so maybe we could play around with that? Claude is just a bit younger than Ches's little brother who he basically raised so I could see him falling into that role naturally.

Since being imprisoned by Thorne, Alucard has found a niche for himself in the Free Cities doing historic preservation - first on a graveyard, and currently on Old Public Hall. He's working on trust issues too
CR YOU WANT: Challenges to how he carries and deals with his anger, deepening what friendships he has, more explicitly Not Human friends who occupy human spaces to discuss the challenges that it entails

He's still feeling pretty cruddy, so he'll be growing a depression beard this month. It'll mostly be peach fuzz. We can't all have Dracula's magnificent facial hair.

Kylo's looking to find allies and strengthen his position in Thorne by making himself indispensable, and beyond his creepy vibes he actually has a fair amount to offer. If you want someone to spar with in the courtyard, need someone to help you set up in the Horizon or get comfortable with your new magic powers, Kylo is your ominous oversized man who's been here since the very first set of summonings.

As for me, I'll happily receive any and all CR of course but my heart beats fastest for fractious frenemies!
I love forced/unexpected/unwelcome team-ups, and honestly if anyone feels like giving me the lost in the wilderness/behind enemy lines with the person I like least CR of my dreams I will be thrilled beyond measure. I also enjoy all flavours of interaction where characters share an end goal but have wildly different ideas about the ethics of the situation, and relationships that develop through the discovery of unexpected commonalities.

While he's quite comfortable in his relationship, you may flirt with Kylo! It will be exceptionally awkward, which is great— Kylo's only just worked out that some people actually find him pretty attractive when he isn't busy committing various war crimes, and while he's no longer the canonical permavirgin he was on arrival in Abraxas he's still exceptionally weak to genuine compliments and has no idea how to handle attention of a positive nature. Destroy him.

I can't think of much I actively don't want, and even the tropes and setups I don't tend to go for can be lots of fun with the right set-up! While he remains aligned with Thorne, Kylo's willing to work with like-minded characters from any faction to unpick these mysteries and more— albeit in a shadowy, ominously illuminati-like fashion rather than some kind of arms around the world rally.

Politik:

Kylo's moving up in the world, with his actions so far having gained him a position of relative authority in Thorne— namely, a task force of four Thornean mages under his command, as well as a title (The Venerable Kylo Ren, thank you!) earned with his actions during the Dimming event. I'd love to play with other characters in Thorne pushing for position and power, as well as with anyone looking for a big strong to hide behind or hitch their proverbial wagon to. Kylo is currently working most closely with Jolene, Ambrose's highest ranking apprentice (who is secretly more loyal to the Duchess of Hayle, Ambrose's sister), and they've learned that the Queen of Thorne herself was behind some pretty sketchy stuff. If your character is into political intrigue, Kylo may be a good way to get teeth into that whole scene.

Kylo's been working with Thornean natives to test the feasibility of bridging and blending Abraxan magic with the skills and abilities the Summoned brought with them from their home worlds, mostly to empower himself. He is surprisingly willing to help others learn magic, and will share the use of a magically protected room in Castle Thorne for the purpose. He's also open to introducing characters to the Horizon for the first time: he's very comfortable with meditation and metaphysical nonsense and will gladly theorise with fellow nerds for days given the slightest opportunity.

He’s from S7, between episodes 2 and 3: he was recently murdered, resurrected, won a major battle, was made King in the North, and is en route to Dragonstone to meet Daenerys to ask her for help fighting off about 100,000 ice zombies that are coming to kill the non-ice-zombie side of the human race. He misses his cool sword and his cooler direwolf.

While he is not in Solvunn, he’d be interested in the Old Gods and how they differ from his own, and he’d be interested in how Free Cities tech could better the lives of people back in Westeros.

Goro was part of the first group of Summoned brought to Abraxas by the Free Cities, and since then he's spent his time here aggravating lots of people, both in the Cities and afar. Since a Solvunn spell at Abraxas Halloween Equivalent resulted in an attack by restless spirits, Goro has been loudly calling for war and doing everything he can to push for it. He's aligned himself with the warhawk faction of the Free Cities, especially the wealthy and influential Sterne family who's patriarch supports him in his efforts. In his spare time, when he's not rabble-rousing, Goro has been sponsoring scientific research into a Hextech-equivalent with Viktor and Jayce, the goal being a device capable of restoring the desert for agricultural purposes. See? He's not a bad guy!
CR YOU WANT: Goro's trying to build a reputation with some of the Free Cities' mercenary population, especially the newer arrivals. If your character plans on freelancing for the Cities, Goro will probably want to keep an eye on you. And if you're hungry for war, Goro might see you as a potential ally as well, though it might depend on how far you're willing to go...
CR YOU DON'T WANT: I'm not above negative CR, with Goro being All That it's a given, but be warned; he is exceptionally petty and WILL remember any insults done to him, and look to repay them down the line.

-Like I said, Goro wants war. He thinks the three nations want it too, but they're wasting time trying to get silly things like justification or the moral high ground for it instead of just...attacking. So right now he's focused on gaining as much influence in the Cities as he can to push for that. Characters opposed to his shit-stirring can try to oppose him or hamper his efforts.

-Regarding the Singularity, Goro is coming around to the idea that it should be destroyed, if for no other reason than he finds the fear people hold it in laughable, however justified (to him, it's not). Though in truth, it's also as much driven by spite at this point too, especially since he crashed Sam's Open House. Anyone making an effort to destroy the monolith would find an ally in Goro. Tell him not to fuck with something? Gorp gonna fuck with it all he wants!

-Elections are going to be held in the Free Cities near the end of the year! Goro can't run, not being a citizen at all, but his ally Klaus Sterne can, and Goro will be looking to back him when he does. I'm currently working on ways Goro can fuck with the elections when they come, and they currently revolve around someone named Renato Latimer, who ran against the current Prime Minister in the last election but dropped out suddenly for...unclear reasons.

-Goro is distrustful of magic and those who practice it for the most part, which is why he seems content to align with the Free Cities and why he's sponsoring Jayvik's Hextech research. The Free Cities don't hate magic but they don't really trust it, and Goro wants to do everything he can to foster that distrust into hate, as part of his efforts to grab power and influence (and discredit people who've made an enemy out of him). He'd be quick to capitalize on any magical mishaps he hears about to push this agenda.

CHARACTER INFORMATION: biosheet; Ches is a 37-year-old werewolf who's the Alpha of a werewolf pack from rural interior BC, Canada, where he specializes in helping newly-turned or out-of-control werewolves learn how to get control of the wolf by accepting it and going with it rather than resisting. The man is just as much wolf as he is human, in most ways. He's been running his pack for about 20 years, but despite that is a pretty chill guy with a laid-back personality and a very calm exterior. Ches is comfortable with himself, confident, can be charismatic, flirtatious, very protective of literally everyone, and forms bonds really quickly, especially with very soft or very tough people, both of which he admires a lot because he is neither very soft nor very tough. On the downside, he can be pretty manipulative once he knows someone (though he tries to only manipulate for good?) and has a sort of contained distance around his own feelings and the more extreme ends of his personality, well-trained from being the Alpha for so long. If he shares his vulnerable emotions too much, he's used to that upsetting the pack, making them anxious which ultimately leads to a pack that doesn't feel safe with its leader. Big no-no. So he contains himself and his most vulnerable parts as well as his most impulsive parts.

CR YOU WANT: He's brand new, so quite literally anything! Stuff I'm most excited for though:

- Friends. People to have a drink with, share stories with, have meaningless but fun hook ups with, to teach things or learn things from, just generally people he can connect with on whatever level.

- Mentoring. Anyone who's young or vulnerable would be a good target for Ches's protective instincts and mother hen tendencies, so if you have a character who needs a caretaker for whatever reason, he's your man. Also, if your character needs to learn any basic skills you'd know from growing up on a farm, he's more than willing to help. He's good with animal care and husbandry, planting and tending crops, clearing land, fixing things around the house, some woodworking, some mechanics. Just a whole bunch of farm boy stuff.

- Adventure buddies. People to figure out the intricacies of this place with. He's going to want to get the lay of the land right away and work out what he should be doing.

Welcome to the world of The Stand, a miniseries released in 2020 about a global pandemic that kills 99.4% of all human life. Stephen King wrote a book in the 70s and we're all still paying the price. Julie Lawry is a manipulative, social-climbing hayseed from Kansas who is among the .6% of humanity who is inexplicably immune from the superflu. As the sole survivor from her entire podunk town, she spent a month completely alone, then fell prey to a wizard/demon/sex god, went to Las Vegas because of dreams, and now her wardrobe is fabulous. Also she died, but we don't talk about that.

Julie is teaching herself Wild magic, which is based on the user's emotions and desires. She is pretty decent for someone who is learning basically just by trial and error -- she can currently do things like control and shape fire, bottle storm clouds, revive dead flowers, and conjure pencils. She is going to suddenly start getting better at magic much faster because ↓↓↓

She has a distinctly strong connection to the Singularity and the Horizon -- by which I mean it turns out that she can FUCKING TALK TO IT. As far as she knows, she is the only one who can, and yep, it sure does weird her out.

In the Horizon, she has a nightclub that's open whenever she's there, populated by roughly 100 fake people who live on the dance floor. There is a lot of booze and drugs available, please see the bartender (Steven, a manifestation of the Horizon) or the hostess (Julie, an idiot) if you would like some. Also if you are looking for a fuckbuddy, Julie will set you up and yes, she has references.

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Lucifer is currently an extremely low-powered archangel and he hates it but he'll deal. He wants power and he wants influence. Pushing Thorne towards the Singularity seems like a good way to go about that. Pushing Thorne towards war seems even better. His last "temper tantrum" had been kind of derailed by being shunted to another world before this one, but it was definitely about burning everything to the ground because his Abandonment Complex hit its climax (thanks Dad).

But eventually burning this world down and taking the Singularity for himself seems like a good idea too :)


CR YOU WANT:
Lucifer's willing to play along with whatever he needs to right now to get the things he wants. He'll be your best friend. He'll be your questing partner. He'll help you get what you need. No strings attached! Really!

But most of Lucifer's CR will probably be Negative, or borderline. Lucifer has two modes: can I use this person or can I corrupt them. Or both! Both are great, too. Do you want the literal devil on your shoulder? Because he can be that, instantaneous or slowburn corruption.

He has no interest in friends but frenemies, sure. And if he thinks someone will prove useful to him that is the closest thing to "friendship" because he's more willing to protect keep an eye out for them. Anyone else is expendable stepping stones.

For more mild CR he is good to just throw back and forth sarcastic quips and talk theory about the world and the cosmos--he's got Feelings about that last one.

If Lucifer doesn't get straight to revealing his identity and instead asks just how Ronan can get him whatever, then Ronan will foolishly explain his creation powers like the absolute himbo he is. Jack Townsend | Tales from the Gas Station

CHARACTER INFORMATION: Jack is a thin, perpetually tired looking 20-something dude that has spent his entire adult life working at a gas station. That in and of itself is pretty unremarkable, except that the gas station is located on a cosmic voidrift where all of the lost and wayward weird entities from across all the universes fall through. He's been witness to just about every horror movie trope or abomination you can think of, and he deals with them all while being a chronically unfazed Good Employee.

CR YOU WANT: Jack's pretty short on friends, and his last mentor got killed by a goblin-looking creature called an Akyak a few years ago. Hallucinating him for heart-to-heart advice isn't really cutting it. I'm also down for him to finally start moving past his ex girlfriend, who's been braindead for about five years. Any candidates for the above choices would have to have a pretty high tolerance for both craziness and social obliviousness.

CR YOU DON'T WANT: Nothing comes to mind!

PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN: Jack's got kind of a sleep/mental condition issue, in that he... doesn't. Or rather, he always sleeps. To clarify, Jack is unable to reach anything beyond the most shallow stages of sleep, and constantly retains some awareness of his surroundings. He also sleepwalks. This means he could be walking around / talking to your character in the middle of a dream he's having and it's possible neither of them would know.

Adding to that, Jack's from a place in canon where an alien race is running him and his friend Jerry through an endless series of simulations he can't break out of, one of which includes a medieval castle with undead at the gates.

Because of both of those above things, he's going to have a hard time knowing what's reality and what isn't. I suspect he'll confuse the Horizon for the real world a lot (since his domain will be his weirdo gas station), and generally speaking it'll be a whole lot of fun to mess with for anyone who likes that type of thing.

Jack also has the ability to manipulate reality a little and hallucinate things into existence. Him learning to control that gift is one of my goals here, so working with some magic users on it would be hella rad!

Magic users and supernaturally aware people may notice Jack seems like a walking battery, a sponge of cosmic voidrift energy. They may also notice his brain is "weird", and they're unable to put him to sleep, charm him, or erase his memories.
