There is no formal introduction log for characters joining the game, which means that players are free to introduce their characters however they would like.

Upcoming modplot will be announced on the OOC community and signal boosted on Plurk! Event #9's OOC plotting post is scheduled for the 12th of this month, while the IC event post itself is scheduled to go up on the 15th. Stay tuned! Characters may find the night holds many wonders this time...and a few dangers.

I would like to sign up for Philosophy just bc geralt simultaneously exists in a pretty violent world but spent a chunk of his childhood in a temple learning ~balance~ (but also how to murder real good)

Also he has 0 faction loyalty and he likes to climb some

Important question though: how is Geralt with the post-climbing landing part?

Better than average but not eagle dive good. He can land from heights that normal people might break their leg doing.

That's a good start! Maybe Altaïr can teach him in exchange for learning something from Geralt as well. In any case he wouldn't make fun of any non-graceful landings out loud

Yes I'd love that! If they get to that Trust stage Geralt would be open to teaching him some Witcher signs in return if he wants a little side combat magic. (It's ok to make fun of him.)

Awesome awesome, I'm down to let organic CR lead the way but I have a feeling this will be a lot of fun. What's Geralt up to lately? I'm probably going to do some kind of catch-all/multi-option log to start this guy out.

He's been hunting as usual so it's prob not hard to catch him returning from one. Otherwise, he's just around Cadens and I can put him in a variety of places pretty easily! He's a wanderer so.

And occasionally hangs out with his bestie (his horse).

Excellent, I can work with that. Continuing to get my ducks in a row about plans today but I can think of a couple starter possibilities to fit.

HORSE FRIENDS Altaïr appreciates that quality as well, though if you take player-directed gameplay as canon, he is a faithless rider and will absolutely trade his horse in for a new one if he spots a cuter, stealable mount at a guard checkpoint.

LMAO just a trail of abandoned horses. Geralt tends to outlive them (since he's like...105), but every horse he's had is named Roach. She's always a mare and he will talk to her frequently like an old friend, which people have definitely called him out on.

This is not at all to cut off the Philosophy angle, I mean isn't the violence > ??? > PHILOSOPHIZING pipeline well-established :v

ABSOLUTELY esp since Geralt has a lot of Thoughts about getting involved with other people's problems and murder so this is a good pipeline
