September 2022 Announcement

Hello, Abraxans!

We have a few announcements regarding the poll for October's application round and some adjustments to our schedule as a result, as well as a peek of what's coming up.

App Round Poll & Schedule

Thank you to everyone for participating in our app round poll regarding this upcoming app round. The final outcome is as follows:

The October application round will be CLOSED.

That said, we understand waiting until December is a long time! As a result, we'll be moving our December application round up by 2 weeks. The schedule will be as follows for November - December:

*Note applications and reserves open 12:01 ET and close 11:59 ET on the specified dates.

◎ The TEST DRIVE MEME will be on November 5th
◎ RESERVES will open on November 10th - 16th*
◎ APPLICATIONS will be on November 17th - 20th*
◎ There will be NO QUESTS in November to make room for the Test Drive Meme

This schedule will only affect the upcoming November/December application round. Following this (beginning January), our schedule will resume as usual with the Test Drive Meme on the 20th, reserves on the 25th, and applications on the 1st - 4th. If you aren't sure what that looks like in practice, you can look at our Calendar to see the dates coming up!

Although this poll was created based on the fact that there are currently less than 10 application slots, please note that as we cannot do a last minute TDM, reserves, and application round, at this point even if the number of available slots increases to greater than 10 before the end of September, applications will continue to remain closed until November.

Updates & Preview

The mod team will be taking this opportunity while applications are closed for a round to continue to make updates to the game for players. Recently, we've updated the Singularity/Horizon page, and we'll be making similar updates to other existing game pages as needed.

Additionally, we hope to give players the following things to look forward to:

◎ We will be overhauling the Test Drive Meme. Our goal is to make sure it better reflects the current state of Abraxas and give arriving players the chance to interact with any ongoing developments that'll be occurring in-game at the time.

◎ Nocwich will be getting its own Settings page, and characters will have the opportunity to return to Oleuni Square regularly on a specific set of days each month. We're working on how to introduce this in-game through the plot, but we wanted to let everyone know that Nocwich is not a one-and-done deal!

◎ Alongside Nocwich's opening will come a way for players to earn tarot cards to receive additional readings from Lady Elin.

◎ Our next event will be in October. It will feature some appropriately spooky themes.
