EVENT #13: FEYWILDS - WRAP-UP

Event #13 - Feywilds (Wrap-Up)

The Masquerade ends with great fanfare. The Fey announce that they are pleased at the attendance and will be in contact soon. Of course, for a long-lived species such as the Fey, it's impossible to determine their version of "soon." You get the sense that they didn't dislike having you there, however.

The Wrap-Up for this event consists of two aspects:
◎ Delivering information to the nations in play in-character (voluntary)

◎ A request for players to submit a creature from their character's canon world
Delivering Information
The nations will want to know what your character has learned about the Feywilds. Upon your return, you'll be asked to relay any information you gathered through observation or from speaking to one of the NPCs. Although any details will be accepted, each faction will have a focus. Characters can equally mention anything they think the Fey are hiding if the information is not as forthcoming or available.

Additionally, there is one more nation at play: Nocwich. Due to Nocwich's conflict with the Feywilds, they're also interested in any information the Summoned can provide, but doing so could be a contentious choice where the relationship between the Summoned and the Fey are concerned.

Nocwich's request is polite and entirely voluntary...but comes with the reminder that they would greatly appreciate the assistance in keeping their borders secure after having provided help to the Summoned during the crisis with the Acolytes.

If your character will choose to provide any information, fill out the form here and reply to the corresponding faction comment. You can decide to reply to only your faction, only Nocwich, both, or neither.

◎ Thorne
Thorne will want to know about Seelie Magic and the Fey's thoughts about the Singularity. This can include the types of spells you observed and its prevalence throughout their society, as well as any differences you may be able to convey between Seelie Magic and Academic Magic.
◎ Free Cities
The Free Cities will want to know about the Fey's military strength and their wildlife. This can include the creatures you encountered, their preferred weapons or tools, and what defences they have around their territory.
◎ Solvunn
Solvunn will want to know about the Faerie religion and their plantlife. This can include the plants you encountered, details regarding their religious ceremonies, and any magic they use related to the Faerie religion that you may have observed.
◎ Nocwich
Nocwich will want to know all of the above. They won't specify precisely what they're seeking, but it would be a reasonable assumption to guess that details about the Feywild's strengths and weaknesses would be of greatest value.
Canon Creatures
We'd like you to submit a description of a (relatively harmless) critter or creature that exists in your character's canon world! We can't say yet what this is for, but we can say you'll find out soon. Depending on the number of submissions, we may use all of them or we may narrow down the pool.

To submit a creature, fill out the form here. The deadline is July 8th at 11:59 ET.

Review the stipulations below before submitting your creature:
One canon source per player. Please pick a creature from only one canon if you have multiple characters.

◎ The creature in question should be a minor threat at most. It can bite, scratch, or be a nuisance, but shouldn't cause massive disruption or harm. A creature comparable to a sewer rat or an aggressive cat would be fine. It can also be completely harmless if you like! Something adorable and fuzzy would also be acceptable.

◎ The creature should be something that populates your world, but does not have a unique or intelligent personality in the canon, nor can they be capable of developing one. For example, a porg from Star Wars would be acceptable.

◎ The creature should be no larger than horse. We won't be too strict with this, but just try to keep a reasonable size in mind.

◎ If your canon has no other option, then creatures of a robotic nature are acceptable. For canons that have no unusual creatures or no creatures that fit the requirements, you can select a common cryptid or mythical entity.
Questions and Answers

If after reading these you're still unsure about anything, or your question wasn't covered, please feel free to hit up our Questions thread below!

Do I need to report information to the factions?
No, this is optional and voluntary. Characters won't be forced to deliver information, but doing so can be used to request influence in the future.
Can we keep any souvenirs or items from the Feywilds?
Small trinkets that characters bought can be kept. Plants and wildlife must not leave the Feywilds.
The creature I have in mind is normally dangerous as an adult. Can I submit a newly hatched or juvenile version of it?
Yes! As long as the creature doesn't grow rapidly, you can submit a juvenile version instead of its adult form.
What kind of cryptids or mythical creatures can I choose from? Can they be something from pop culture?
We recommend choosing something that commonly has existing lore outside of a single piece of media. For example, a kelpie or a jackalope would be fine.
What about androids or robots?
We ask that you avoid anything that contains high technological advancement, with the exception of if mechanical creatures are treated as standard critters or monsters in your character's canon and no other options exist. In this case, please try to choose something with limited technological capabilities.
Do aliens count?
Yes, alien critters from other planets in your character's canon can be submitted! However, they can't be sentient creatures.

Hello! Crane knows Batman is a person but his goons spread rumours he's not. Related lines include "The things they say about him... can he really fly?" and "I heard he can disappear". Later on, when Crane gasses the Narrows, he as well as the criminals and inmates he leads literally see Batman as a demonic flying cryptid.

I've been discussing this with Blake's player since their canon point is after this happens. The trilogy lacks unusual animals and we wonder if this counts? The actual sighting is what people see of the "Batman" flying across the city on his way to stop Ra's.

It's the toxin preying on fears and susperstition so I'm guessing not but it never hurts to ask!

So Nero has made the bad decision (he will say he was goaded into it) to punch Lucifer in the face in the middle of the Masquerade. What are the consequences for this?

The plan is there may be further fighting (Rocket might be joining) but Istredd and Geralt will appear to pull them apart before Nero can make more bad decisions.

Just wondering how the fey will react!! Please I love Consequences
