Character Name: Julie Lawry Arcana: The Wheel of Fortune Faction: Free Cities
Anomalous Beasts: She would only kind of the know the hippo, in that she can generally identify it as such. But it's not exactly the same, and also she doesn't know anything about hippos anyway. She will be getting a weird glimpse through the eye of the Shuma-Gorath, but she has no clue what it is.
Interested Locations: Julie will be inclined to position herself mostly in the Horizon! That's the place she will feel best equipped to protect, given her skill when it comes to manipulating the Horizon, and she also will want to be as close to the Singularity as she can get. If she is, for whatever reason, asked to help in the physical world, she would prefer to remain close to Cadens, helping on the humanitarian side of things.
Activities: In the Horizon, Julie will be, tbh, going full Buffy on any beasties she can find. This is her Sunnydale, she is the Slayer. Sure, she doesn't know martial arts, but she can do HELLA magic in the Horizon, which means she is an extra good person to coordinate outside attacks with! Also it gives her the opportunity to wear a lot of bad-assoutfits.
Back in the real world, she will be in-and-out fairly regularly, but can always be called out of the Horizon to help the other Summoned where needed. I think that, if she has to fight any monsters, I'm going to have her temporarily booted back out of the Horizon to recover, so she would be available during those times!
Unique Skills: Julie knows how to conjure and use fireballs really well, both in real life and the Horizon. In the Horizon, she is a master of manipulating and changing the entire environment to do whatever she wants. She won't be able to just straight up beat the monsters, but she sure can fuck 'em up in there. She never gets to do cool stuff, just let me do cool stuff please
If you want her to help you fight in the real world? Well, she'll try her hardest, that's all she can say.
General plans: Well, Julie is starting off the event with a real bang, so that will be fun. She gets to be Shuma-Gorath (aka eyeball monster from MoM) for a few moments, and will see as it peeks through Strange's bedroom window in the wee hours of the morn. It's not creepy or weird or anything at all. Because she is so attuned to the Singularity's mood, she is also going to be "intensely distressed" a lot. Also, her entire life will be ruined when she is confronted by a gigantic hippo that gets shit all over her. SHE WILL NEVER FULLY HEAL FROM THIS EXPERIENCE.
