Character Name: vash the stampede Arcana: death Faction: solvunn
Anomalous Beasts: vash would be familiar with the grand worm, and would share as much knowledge as he can about the creature with those who encounter it. luckily it's very killable, unluckily they love to eat people. :')
Interested Locations: vash will go where he's needed, but of note he'll most likely be found near the abandoned settlement trying to keep all the little forest guardians out of harm's way.
Activities: vash will be assisting other summoned and solvunn locals in dealing with the threats as they come and keeping people safe. he is less concerned about collateral damage done to buildings-- homes can be rebuilt, people are not replaceable. once it becomes common knowledge that the creatures can be more or less held semi-hostage in the horizon, leaving them vulnerable in the physical world, vash will offer to dive in to keep a creature busy.
i'd also like to make it public knowledge (at least to players!) that vash will have seen a vision via the eyes of the watcher in the water observing thancred in nott early in the event. immediately after witnessing this vision, he will be going into the horizon to try and glean what he can from the singularity itself. so, he'll be right there with it in the wake of that vision, and likely will be checking in on it multiple times during the event. he'll be candid about what's happened if anyone notices or wants to ask. ✌️
also, like, he'll be doing his best to compartmentalize how upset/terrified he feels, even knowing they're not his emotions. to perhaps varying degrees of success if that's something your character wants to notice.
Unique Skills: for this plot i'd like to give vash an opportunity to show off his ability to act quickly in high pressure situations. you can read more about his skills here on his abraxas info page, but even sans a gun he is a valuable asset in a fight. he'll happily act as backup to any summoned who need someone to watch their back, or play the part of distraction to give someone else a vital opening. or if your summoned is about to get flattened by an ornery beast, you can count on him to bodily knock them out of the way.
