Most excellent. I will absolutely get a TL up for some rescuing shenanigans. Adora can create a very temporary (without her sword, maybe like 10 seconds) shield with her magic. Enough time if there's a devastating blow coming for Istredd to get people out of the way, perhaps?

orrrr my reading comprehensive is trash? Or, since shields are definitely not necessary in this case (lol), Adora and Istredd could tag team getting people out or even, possibly, have a quieter thread while both catching their breath? I did put up a closed TL I've yet to write, without realizing my eyes missed that part of Istredd's magic is shields as well ❤️
