CHARACTER INFORMATION: Dante is a half-demon (don't worry about it) half-human monster hunter who looks like he's just hit his mid-life crisis. He tries a little too hard at being cool which also makes him not cool, yet somehow he rounds that 360 back into being a little cool if you squint. He likes to wear red and may not have showered recently but that's probably because his hot water was turned off. He is never without a snarky quip that is mostly for his own amusement but is that trope of being kind of a softie on the inside. Kids love him and they shouldn't, but maybe they understand him because he also doesn't want a bed time and to survive on cake and pizza. Also you can stab him a lot and he won't die. Go ahead and try it!

As far as Abraxas goes, Dante has mostly been vibing in Thorne and poking into the Horizon from time to time. The only power he's gained in this setting is the ability to Summon Pizza. And honestly he doesn't need anything else. He has developed Stuffed Crust, different sizes, multiple toppings, and now he can shape the pizza into fun things...like hats. And pumpkins! Just in time for Halloween.

CR YOU WANT: Honestly anyone willing to put up with him is a good thing. He's terribly uncool but that won't stop him. Please accost him in Thorne and in Horizon. BUT AS FOR SPECIFICS...

➤ I do like it when he incidentally ends up playing dad!uncle to younger peeps so I'm definitely down for that. He's a big ol' softie at heart.
➤ Other monster hunter-types because sharing a line of work is the best way to bond.
➤ Other older or "old man energy" characters to hang out with. It's mid-life crisis time, baby.
➤ Any other characters with extra special abilities. (He has demonic powers.)
➤ I do enjoy having women boss him around because that's what he knows best. (F for Trish and Lady...no, no they're probably thriving without him tbh.)

But I also really really like people he can just get soft on or help motivate him into action and to do better. HE IS. A good dude. On the inside. He just makes a show of being obnoxious.

PLOTS/THREADS/THEMES YOU'RE INTERESTED IN:

➤ I put him in Thorne specifically because it's somewhere he wouldn't choose to be, so either people who want to encourage him to do the magical nerd thing or people who can lament with him that being a nerd is lame. He IS, however, enjoying the daily baths, free food, and working plumbing. You can often find him naked and asleep in the bath. Sorry about that.
➤ If you know his nephew Nero please come at him so he can embarrass family across faction lines. (They're not exactly OPEN about being family but some people know and the resemblence is really there.)
➤ Young characters for Dante to get soft on. He's Too Cool for this but also does it all the time. It's a gentle but distant adoption. He will be there for you and call you "sport".
➤ I do want Dante's demonic powers to get exposed properly at some point.
➤ Ultimately Dante isn't really the sort of research and gather kind of guy, he's a "I've been called in because something that got nasty needs to be taken care of" person. So he needs to team up with people who have those missing skills! Being the muscle/bash in the wall for others.
➤ Mostly I want him to be support for other character's stories/plots.
➤ Dante's Pizza is now OFFICIALLY SANCTIONED. He can now run a stupid little pizza card in Thorne to shill his wares. (He is in debt from buying the cart.) I'll probably put up an open log in November/the off month for people to come try and haze him. But feel free to assume you've already seen it or have tried his pizza in the cafeteria. He gives it out a lot. Look forward to it!
