Character Name: Istredd Motion: Istredd would like to petition Thorne for a stipend and/or Summoned being paid by the crown for things they help out with around the castle. They've been gardening, magical and physical training, working in the library, etc., and while Thorne doesn't need them to do that as they have their own people, the Summoned are helping out as part of the community.
It is underlined that having payment for these things would give them more of an ability to spend money in the nearby castle city and in Borrel so they're not constantly browsing without putting money down. (Also in Nocwich.) And it would be them working for the crown technically within the castle.
A stipend in general would be nice but in this situation it would require some work to be done in exchange so capitalism still is in full force. If they'd consider a stipend for newcomers who haven't found their feet yet, that would be thrown out there.
