◎ Overview

When submitting your Activity Check, please keep in mind the following:

◎ A minimum of two threads with a brief summary for each thread is required.

◎ While there's no minimum comment count, Abraxas is a plot-centered game that requires a degree of thread progression. We expect threads to contain reasonable interactivity with other players. We may request supplementary proofs if interactivity is insufficient. For example, one reply to each proof posted late in the month, or early in the month then dropped, would not be enough. Previous activity patterns will be taken into account, as well.

◎ Backdated threads (from the previous month only) are acceptable, but the comments linked as proofs must take place during the current month. Although both proofs can be backdated, you're encouraged to submit at least one thread started in the current month whenever possible.

◎ TDM threads, network threads, and inbox threads are acceptable, but must not make up the total of both proofs (i.e. both proofs can't consist of only TDM threads). Additionally, at least one proof should be a log thread. Both proofs cannot be network-style comment spam.

◎ All players are expected to reply, including if you've submitted a hiatus. If you have extenuating circumstances that prevent you from posting your AC, you may have another player comment with a proxy submission on your behalf.

Pain Reduction: Built off of her first Horizon trip with Stephen this ability manifests in the form of a trigger utilizing both emotion and music. Namely positive emotions associated with music. In the beginning, it will only be able to reduce the pain of moderate injuries (a broken bone, a non vital stabbing) to minimum amounts for an hour. Over time and a lot of practice, it can dull pain entirely for anywhere between an hour to twenty-four hours depending on the severity.

This ability can help ease mental strain with time (aka character growth, Nebula wanting to show empathy and accepting her own weaknesses). It does not heal any part of the body or mind. The pain relief may make someone feel like they can walk on a twisted ankle or worse, but it will still give out.

The effectiveness of this ability will rely entirely on Nebula's emotional capacity. Meaning that the stronger she feels about helping the particular person and the more she means it the more effective it can be... But because she's not good at words she has to hum [or sing] songs she knows while also meaning the words. This means if she's not willing to truly show she means it the magic's effect is a lot less than it could be [but never goes beyond what's said].

In essence, if she's half-assing it nothing could happen! She has to mean it and the more she means it the longer both it and the intensity will last. But getting to a full scale twenty-four hours will take months (years) of practice and not guaranteed because... well, look at her.

As this is built off of her own peace in music, constant thriving in pain, and trying to do better for others while it can ease some of Nebula's persistent pain it will only ever make it more mild; This is for others more than herself. Is this just a way to push Nebula's growth and embarrass her? Yes, yes it is.
Notable actions: At the moment she is newly arrived and just getting her bearings. Nothing of note yet!

In Ikorr, Viktor did some light NPC questioning as part of the investigations, and volunteered to analyze samples so that Alucard doesn't have to keep licking things off the floor.

Most importantly, Viktor received an honorary degree from the Grand Academy of General Science in a public ceremony that he reluctantly attended after everyone bullied him into it.
